The first seasonal collection by Teddy Santis as Creative Director for New Balance "Made in USA" honors the 40th anniversary of the iconic 990 silhouette.
Teddy Santis, founder and creative director of NYC-based brand Aimé Leon Dore, released his first seasonal collection as Creative Director for New Balance MADE in USA. As part of the “Made in USA” collection – and in honor of 2022 marking the 40th anniversary of the iconic 990 silhouette – Santis designed seasonal, limited-edition models of the 990v1, 990v2 and 990v3.
In addition to those seasonal models, the collection also includes classic American sportswear apparel. With a keen eye towards craftsmanship, Santis designed a variety of sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts and t-shirts.
Santis has made a name for himself by creating products with a New York sensibility. His vision for the MADE ins USA series is focused on designs that highlight New Balance’s history, heritage and craftsmanship through product, materials, and use of color.
