Collection: Stone Island 0 Products

A culture of research, experimentation, function and use are the matrixes that have always defined Stone Island: the sportswear brand established in 1982 in Ravarino, by Massimo Osti, Art Director and Bolognese intellectual.

The brand has redefined the common understanding of sportswear, having immediately become a cult phenomenon and still maintains its position as a contemporary point of reference for younger generations.

Stone Island at the Allike Store

The Italian cult label is known for unusual materials, cool design and ingenious functionality, and a boss who is quite experimental, the „Presidente“ Carlo Rivetti.

The story

It all began in 1982, when the gifted Massimo Osti founded the fashion label Stone Island in the Italian province of Modena. The company became known for its revolutionary and trend-setting product developments. Just one year later, the ingenious Carlo Rivetti joined the company and took over 50 percent of the shares. The duo successfully launched grandiose collections. Until he left the company in 1994, Osti was the main proponent of the legendary Stone Island style. Today, Carlo Rivetti is at the helm of the company - and to the chagrin of many women, Stone Island is still a men-only brand.

Fashion, materials and new technologies

With each new collection, you can feel that tradition is also part of the future. In addition to cutting-edge jackets, trousers and jumpers, a lot of time is invested in research and the development of new technologies. This is certainly also the reason why the fashion empire is milestones ahead of its competitors.

There was, for example:

The Ice Jacket, which changes colour with temperature changes, or the extremely durable Bronze Jacket made of 100 per cent stainless steel. All the garments are highly recognisable and demand is huge.

Stone Island in Hamburg and the Stone Island Shadow Project Hamburg are exemplary: Stone Island is the counter-design to disposable fashion. The company grows and grows under its own steam without having to bend in the process.
