As y’all sure saw in our IG story (@allikestore), we stayed with adidas last weekend for the Falcon W pre-launch. The Falcon being the new interpretation of the trefoils retro runner Falcon Dorf, the whole experience was centered around reviving the 90s spirit. Greeted by an enormous dinosaur and a swing carousel we were guided into the Falcon Fairground - an old ice cream factory filled with childhood memories. A ball pit, bumper cars, a magician and many other stuff that let our inner child jump of excitement. We had a lot of fun - shoutout to adidas!
Now back to topic: the adidas Falcon W.
This design gets the deal, the dad shoe vibe is definitely strong on this one and guess what - we love it! The mostly black synthetic upper is accentuated by grey suede and pink leather overlays and has bright orange on the outer sole and turquoise and blue branding on the side and the tongue.
“ Extreme wetness? Extreme heat? Extreme altitude? Thanks to water repellent, breathable merino wool ATRIC lasts under extreme conditions.
Purposely ironic we merge the worlds of extreme adventure and urban life. We play with the trend of wearing outdoorsy, high-technology shoes in the rarely extreme environment of a city.”
On occasion of adidas Originals releasing their ATRIC collection the brand and Johannes Höhn (@Pangea) invited us and 7 other top-accounts in Germany to a photography workshop in Duisburg, Germany. We shot the whole collection (FTW, APP, ACC) first in Landschaftspark Duisburg Nord and later at the Tiger&Turtle. To present the collection adidas Originals organized two models for us to shoot with.
Many thanks to adidas Originals and Johannes Höhn (@Pangea) for this experience!

The Adizero Adios 3 is dressed in “Desert Camo” and the other colourway is held plain black with the typical three white stripes on the side.

The Nike Air Max 180 was the big game changer that rang in the 90s possibly more than any other sneaker. It changed the whole aesthetic ball game and moved an appreciation for sneakers outside of the athletic realm into the mainstream.
We can all agree that aesthetically speaking it’s ground breaking- the exposed Air Sole, the sleek silhouette, the colourways were all more than on point.
Back in 1991 when this sneaker first dropped, the heads at Nike commissioned some seriously heavy hitting artists to help promote this new release. Proving the point that Nike has always been pushing the envelope in this regard, especially considering whom the chose to work with at the time.Read More
